GGB to Exhibit at Hannover Show 2016

Time:14 Apr,2016
GGB Bearing Technology will exhibit at this year′s Hannover Show, April 25-29, 2016. Visit us in Hall 4, Stand H42 and learn about GGB′s new case hardened steel bushes and bearing assemblies. Designed for applications that demand high wear resistance without cracking under load, new GGB-SHB™ case hardened steel bearings are made of a special alloy containing manganese and vanadium for improved strength and toughness and increased hardening rate. The new bearings are suitable for heavy equipment, hydraulic cushioning and rotational applications, including earth moving equipment such as excavators and loaders; drilling equipment, buckets and grippers; and hydraulic cylinders where they protect against wear of bottoms and eyelets. Other applications include industrial washing machines, sliding guides for industrial presses and components for suction pumps, machine tools and automatic machines. GGB self-aligning bearing assemblies accommodate a wide range of GGB metal-polymer and fiber reinforced composite plain bearings, simplify installation and increase application service life. They compensate for shaft misalignment of up to ± 5o, reducing edge loads, premature wear and power transfer deficiencies. With distortion-proof spherical elements, they house GGB bearings to provide optimal design solutions for a wide range of applications. GGB self-aligning bearing assemblies are available in three standard ranges: MINI housings made of aluminum alloy with steel spherical elements accommodate bearing IDs of 8mm to 15mm, and are available in universal, flange and plummer block configurations. UNI housings made of ductile cast iron with steel spherical elements accommodate bearing IDs of 10mm to 100mm, and are available in universal, flange and plummer block configurations. EXALIGN™ housings consisting entirely of cast iron accommodate bearings IDs of 10mm to 100mm, and are available in plummer block and two- or four-bolt flange configurations. Among the many applications for these assemblies are wind energy plants, car washes, cleaning machines, drum systems, beveling equipment, handling systems, conveyor belts, printing machines, HVAC equipment, hoists, cranes, textile machinery, special machine engineering, bakery equipment and marine equipment.
