NSK Welcomes Visitors to SIMTOS 2016 (Seoul International Manufacturing Technology Show)

NSK Ltd. (NSK; Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; President and CEO: Toshihiro Uchiyama) today announced that it will exhibit its products and technologies at the Seoul International Manufacturing Technology Show (SIMTOS 2016) to be held at the Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX; Goyang, Gyeonggi-do) from Wednesday, April 13 to Sunday, April 17. SIMTOS is one of the world's preeminent international machine tool expos for a wide variety of manufacturing technologies including machine tools, components, and tools. It ranks 4th in the world in terms of expo floor space, behind Europe's EMO, USA's IMTS and China's CIMT. This year, at SIMTOS 2016, there will be 102,000 square meters of expo floor space, 1,125 companies from 35 countries and regions, and around 100,000 visitors from around the world. NSK is approaching its 100th anniversary this November and remains committed to its exhibit theme of being “Your Real Partner" in providing new technology to meet its customers' needs for greener, quieter and more reliable solutions. South Korea in particular is a country focused on state-of-the-art technology. As such, NSK is pleased to exhibit a variety of new products including some being shown outside of Japan for the first time. NSK will be exhibiting a rich variety of its standard stock Linear GuidesTM and ball screws that help customers to reduce costs and get equipment online faster. In addition, NSK is committed to communicating with customers in South Korea eager to implement new products, seeking to receive feedback that NSK can proactively reflect in future product development. Main Exhibits Overview of Exhibition About NSK Korea Co., Ltd. NSK established the now NSK Korea Co., Ltd. in 1987 as a manufacturer and marketer of high-quality bearings and other products for many Korean businesses in fields such as electric appliances and automobiles. As the Korean economy has grown, NSK's business in Korea has also grown. In 2010, NSK started producing NSK Linear GuidesTM in Korea to support semiconductor manufacturing equipment makers. In addition, NSK has expanded its technical bases in Korea to ensure speedier development as well as global product expansion to meet the technical needs of Korean businesses.
