Danish wind energy giant Vestas has won a 600 megawatts contract for 12 wind power plants in Yanchi County, China.
The plants are all owned by the Hanas Group and the contract includes a one-year Active Output Management 4000 service agreement.
All 12 wind power plants were built with Vestas wind turbines and the deal also includes a four-year Portfolio Support.
Chris Beaufait, President of Vestas Asia Pacific and China, said: “We look forward to continuing the long-term partnership with Hanas Group and to helping them lower the cost of energy through these tailor-made service solutions… Working with Hanas Group on a customized order of this volume confirms our service strategy in China is well-designed to meet evolving customer needs.”
This new deal helps Vestas to cement its place as the world’s largest wind energy service provider, with more than 15 per cent of the worldwide wind turbine fleet.
