Cool Technologies Announces Significant Technology Milestone

Time:22 Jan,2016
Dry Pit Submersible Motor Validated to Increase Power Density by 400% TAMPA, FL -- (Marketwired) -- 01/21/16 -- Cool Technologies, Inc. (OTCQB: WARM) announced today the test results of their dry-pit submersible motor verified and validated to increase power output by 400% over its leading competitors. Based on a diameter-to-diameter comparision (a standard measurement of size in the motor manufacturing industry) with a global leader in power technologies, ABB, and its Baldor-Reliance 250TY dry pit submersible motor for continuous usage in air, the Cool Technologies' motor registered 40 horsepower compared to the 10 horsepower output by the Baldor-Reliance motor. John Ivins, President, ESSCO Pumps & Controls called Cool Technologies' new method of cooling the motors that drive the pumps "The biggest improvement in pumps in more than 50 years, a true game changer." "Because dry pits encompass the majority of the global market, the impact should be felt worldwide," said Timothy Hassett, Cool Technologies' CEO and son of the man who helped design the motor and cooling system technology still in use by Baldor-Reliance back in 1957. Richard Schul, former President of Emerson Electric Motors and Group Vice President, Emerson Electric Company, added, "As designers and manufacturers, we strive to deliver the most power dense, high efficient product at the lowest cost. This sophisticated new technology fits todays' production manufacturing lines with little or no investment in tooling and patterns. In fact, through standardization, the OEM can reduce in-house cost. The bottom line: this is an industry that has been scraping to save pennies for years and Cool Technologies is giving it $100 bills." Pre-production patterns are complete and casting for the new motors has begun. "We believe that the commercialization of our dry pit submersible dramatically enhances the value of our company" said Mr. Hassett. "Combine that with the concurrent commercialization of our mobile generation technology and we believe we are on a clear path to significant order fulfillment and eventually up-listing to a national exchange." About Cool Technologies, Inc. Cool Tech is an intellectual property and engineering company that works with partners such as Emerson Electric and Nidec Motor Corporation to manufacture products utilizing their assets. Our expertise in thermal dispersion technologies and their application to various product platforms enables them to improve power output by up to 40%. We employ a business model very similar to General Electric's under Jack Welch. The model incorporates license & royalty, strategic alliance and joint venture/profit sharing. Cool Technologies is currently commercializing its patented thermal technology and a mobile generation technology. Plus, it has additional patents-pending for various OEM applications of its proprietary heat removal technologies. The markets that will be addressed by these technologies include industries such as pumps, fans, compressors, batteries, motors, generators and bearings.
